Rick Stack is the owner of St. Paul Guitar Studio, a music lesson studio located in an 1,100 square foot loft space in the Northern Warehouse building in downtown St. Paul. St. Paul Guitar Studio largely concentrates on Acoustic and Electric Guitar Lessons, and Acoustic and Electric Bass Lessons but does also offer lessons for Banjo and Mandolin.
St. Paul Guitar Studio currently has 15 guitar instructors who teach in styles such as Rock, Blues, Resophonic Slide Guitar, Jazz, Classical, Flamenco, Finger-style Acoustic, R&B, Funk, Latin, Bluegrass and Rockabilly. The studio is welcoming and equipped to handle everything from the first time beginning student to advanced players that having been playing for years.
St. Paul Guitar Studio held it's first Guitar Clinic, “The Art Of Solo Guitar” in the summer of 2009 with special guest, world champion finger-style guitarist, Tim Sparks. The 2 ½ hour lecture/demonstration also featured St. Paul Guitar Studio instructors Jeff Ray (Acoustic Blues), Zeb Cruikshank (Acoustic Looping), Michael Ziegahan (Flamenco) and Ben Woolman (Finger-Style Acoustic). St. Paul Guitar Studio will hold it's first Electric Guitar Clinic in the Fall of 2010.
